Three posts in one day, sorry guys! Spammity spam etc. I was in the mood to finish this, so I went with it. FYI, this is my most FAVOURITE disney movie of all time. OF ALL TIME. What about you guys? What are your favourites? Let me know, I love talking disney! Anyway, on with the show: featuring a super clever mouse detective...

#17. The Great Mouse Detective (1986)
“From that time on, Basil and I were a close team. We had many cases together, but I’ll always look back on that first with the most fondness; my introduction to Basil of Baker Street, the great mouse detective.”

SYNOPSIS: In Victorian London, England, a little mouse girl's toymaker father is abducted by a peglegged bat. She enlists the aid of Basil of Baker Street, the rodent world's answer to Sherlock Holmes. The case expands as Basil uncovers the crime's link to a plot against the Crown itself.
WHY IS IT ON THE LIST: This is the best Disney movie ever. It combines two of my favourite things - Disney and Sherlock Holmes. It's adorable and if anyone of you guys has seen it you will know that there are some genuinely creepy moments! The peg-leg bat was by far the creepiest thing EVER when I was younger, and Rattigan and his giant cat also creeped me out immensely. I always found it adorable that the plot of this movie sat side by side with a human version of Sherlock Holmes: there are numerous scenes where we see the shadows of the real Sherlock and Watson, and I always found this so, so cute and clever. This movie is definitely in my top ten, possibly my top five.
