Confession: I'm totally obsessed with the British royal family. I don't know if it's because I'm Australian and we're part of the Commonwealth; I've grown up reading about them and hearing about them and seeing them on the television. I used to tell my mama that Diana was an angel. I remember so well the day she died, I was devastated. I convinced my mama to let me stay up all night to watch her funeral - I don't remember this, but I managed to stay up and watch the ENTIRE thing.

So. I didn't watch the entire ceremony (like, the guests arriving and whatnot because honestly I don't care I just want to see Catherine and William). Her dress was GORGEOUS. She's beautiful. She has such poise and elegance and I think she looked aboslutely stunning, but in an understated way.

I cracked up watching William trying so hard not to turn around and look at Catherine, and Harry muttering stuff in his ear. They seem to love each other so much. I LOVE THEM OMG DKSGH:SDJKBGJD

Anyway, I cried. Cried buckets. My mama is still watching it, sobbing hysterically. I just watched them exchange vows and thankfully it wasn't too long. Now I'm just waiting for them to come out onto the balcony for the smoochies ♥ ♥ ♥


EDIT: OKAY SO THEY WENT OUT ON THE BALCONY AND I WAS LIKE JESUS CHRIST GUYS JUST KISS ALREADY AND THEN THEY LOOKED AT EACH OTHER AND KIND OF SMIRKED AND THEN BAM! SMOOCHIES! That's it for me, that's all I wanted to see. I'm happy now :D

EDIT 2: my mama is so lazy, she actually TEXTED ME FROM HER ROOM to say "they kissed two more times!!" lolololol

hmmm well, i dont think it is because you're Aussie and we're part of the commonwealth... cause I am not really bothered about the royals, as i think is the case with most aussie's.

though i did watch the wedding (cause i was attending a viewing party), and yeah it was nice. but obviously didn't have the same affect on me that it did for you. i thought it was all very appropriate and lovely though. my only critiques were that there wasn't enough affection between the couple and that Cate wore too much eye-makeup.

I guess in my family and my group of friends it was a big deal. I don't know, the girly side of me was just squeeing over the whole romantic side of it. I feel like such a dweeb, there are a bunch of us on facebook having this detailed conversation about the lace on her dress, lololol.

Beatrice looked friggin horrid. I mean the hat was a statement and a work of art but she shouldn't have worn it to the wedding.

Catherine looked timelessly stunning. The dress was just incredible.

I honestly laughed everytime Beatrice popped up on the screen. HORRIBLE HAT. Seriously.

Catherine was flawless, of course. It was simple, yet elegant. She looked so regal - exactly like a royal should :)
